The Challenge

As GEO PSI continued to grow, leadership recognised that internal whistleblowing processes no longer provided the level of independence expected from a modern governance framework. Employees needed a safe way to report concerns, while the board required greater confidence that disclosures would be managed consistently, confidentially and transparently.

Why Veremark

I had been in active discussions with David Morgan broadly on all matters related to corporate governance and whistleblowing which had sparked some interesting debates and engagement on these topics. David’s expertise and passion for the subject shone through, and when we received a demonstration of the Veremark product it was clear that it was a fit for purpose solution for the size and structure of our business.

GEO PSI evaluated how an independent platform could strengthen employee trust while reducing governance risk.

Veremark's solution stood out because it combined:

  • Independent third-party reporting
  • Anonymous encrypted disclosures
  • Intuitive case management
  • Strong governance expertise

The Solution

Today, GEO Pressure Systems uses Veremark’s whistleblowing solution to add further credibility to their updated policies and procedures, and a layer of assurance to the business; with a 3rd-party risk reporting channel that their employees can raise anonymous misconduct concerns through.

The anonymity and end-to-end encryption of data helps remove some of the barriers that can prevent people from speaking up, particularly when concerns are sensitive or involve internal relationships, management decisions or workplace conduct.

Veremark's whistleblowing solution also supports the organisation with wider compliance needs, by providing a single online channel where board members can track concerns raised, and see how they've been handled, from beginning to end.

The Results

  • Independent reporting and improved governance
  • Employees love the simplicity of Veremark's platform
  • Our internal senior team identified the approach to be taken in relation to the configurable elements of the Veremark product, and the onboarding process was completely seamless and implemented very quickly.
